One week to go (less if you’re in America) and the excitement is almost at fever pitch.

Into this whirlwind of anticipation we’re launching the Damage Element Video highlighting the game’s pro-simulation damage system that’s seriously realistic. With this mode switched on, you have to treat the walls and other cars with some serious respect.

If you want to see more, remember the Gamespot “Making Of” videos are available so you can hear from the makers of the game. The episode of this series dealing with damage has been uploaded to the Codemasters site so you can find out a bit on how the system works from the makers of the game.
       

And that’s all - I’m not going to keep you. Between now and the end of next week we’ll have released another video, the multiplayer demo and… something else. Oh, yes. The best racing game you are likely to play this year. I knew I’d forgotten something in all the activity.
